Real-Time Blackhawk Transition Updates Including FAQs

Following the transition from Blackhawk Bank to First Mid, below are answers to the most frequently asked questions in our call center.  Since we are experiencing higher than normal call volumes, we want to provide you with real-time answers to avoid longer wait times. How do I log into Personal Online Banking

Use your Blackhawk Bank User ID and your one-time temporary password will be: B(last 6 digits of your SSN)Hawk$ (Example: B123456Hawk$) (User IDs and Passwords are case sensitive.)

Alternatively, you can log into your account by clicking on the “Forgot Password” option within the Personal Online Banking section. Follow the steps to update your password.

Please Note: Upon your initial login, be prepared for added security measures that require multiple logins. This applies only to first-time logins.

Why am I not seeing my balances in Online Banking?

Transactions made from the evening of December 1 through the weekend will be processed and posted on December 4. These transactions will be available to view in your online banking starting the morning of December 5. Older transactions will be available later this week.

Why can I not see my debit card in the Personal Mobile App?

If you go to CARDS in the mobile app and there are no cards showing, you will see +Add Card. If you have multiple cards and only some are showing, swipe right on the visible cards until you see +Add Card.

Once you click +Add Card, you may enter your card information manually or tap “scan” and take a photo of your card’s information.
