
First Mid Personal Online and Mobile Banking will become a new, more modern digital banking experience the weekend of March 14-16, 2025. We’re taking you to a whole new level of banking!
Below is a timeline and list of actions to help you prepare for this exciting change.

Now thru Friday, March 14, 2025 | |||||
ACTION> | Verify your contact information within your Online Banking profile. This includes your mailing address, email address, and phone number. To verify, log in to Personal Online Banking on a desktop computer and click Profile in the upper right-hand corner. Select Edit next to the option you’d like to verify. You can update your information by entering it and selecting Save. | ||||
ACTION> | Ensure you know your Online & Mobile Banking username and password. If you do not know your username, please call Customer Support at 877-888-5629 or verify with your local branch prior to March 14th. You will not be able to log in to the new platform without it. | ||||
ACTION> | Add communications@firstmid.com and communications@firstmid.ccsend.com to your email contacts to ensure our emails with important details about this change land in your inbox. | ||||
ACTION> | Print your Bill Pay history, payees, and recurring payment information prior to March 10th in order for you to verify information converted from the existing system. | ||||
ACTION> | You may wish to print or archive any past eStatements or electronic documents from your account that you would like to retain for your files. If you use Quicken or QuickBooks®, download your transaction history prior to March 13th. | ||||
ACTION> | If you have turned your debit card “off” using card controls in the First Mid mobile app, be sure to turn your card “on” prior to March 14th so it is available for use during the weekend when you will not have access to the app. | ||||
ACTION> | Recurring internal transfers will carry over to the new system, however, they will not be able to be edited or deleted. Should you ever need to adjust a transfer, you must call our Customer Support Team at 877-888-5629 for assistance with rescheduling them on the new system. | ||||

Prescheduled and recurring external transfers will continue without interruption; however, you will not have access to make changes or cancel external transfers until the new platform has launched. |

Prescheduled and recurring Bill Payments, and prescheduled payments and incoming payments in Zelle® will continue without interruption; however, during the weekend, you will not have access to make changes or cancel payments. |

ACTION> | APPLE Users: Users with “auto updates” enabled on their device will automatically receive an app update. If you do not have automatic updates turned on, you will receive a prompt to manually update your app. ANDROID Users: Users will receive a prompt to download the new app from Google Play and must manually delete the old app from your device. |

ACTION> | You may now sign in to the new First Mid Online & Mobile Banking. Visit our new Online & Mobile Banking resource page for important first-time login instructions. |

ACTION> | Any third-party services (Venmo, Robinhood, Cash App, etc.) that use your online banking credentials must be re-established. | ||||
ACTION> | Some alerts must be re-established after phone number verification. To verify your phone number, complete the following steps: Log in to Online Banking > Click Settings > Select Contact > Under Phone Numbers, select the edit pencil next to the phone number you wish to receive alerts > Check the box I would like to receive SMS text messages to this number > Click Save Changes. | ||||
ACTION> | External transfers you currently have set up will need to be set up again in the new system. However, external accounts you currently have linked will come over to the new system. If you deleted your internal recurring transfers prior to upgrade weekend, internal recurring transfers must also be re-established. Please verify that your contact information associated with your external accounts is current. Some external vendors may require two-factor authentication before allowing you to link your external account. Some vendors may also require two-factor authentication to update your external account balance within First Mid’s banking platform. |
