Alyssa Newmister is a Senior Vice President, Director of Treasury Management at First Mid Bank & Trust. She graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Master of Business Administration. Expanding her Treasury Management expertise, Alyssa earned her Certified Treasury Professional designation from the Association of Financial Professionals.
She is recognized as a driven, results oriented finance professional with the highest degree of integrity. Alyssa is skilled in strategic working capital planning and assists her clients in executing fiscally responsible cash management practices. She does this through leading a team of product experts to develop customized banking solutions for her clients. Alyssa has a contagious passion for excellence, a talent for leading teams, and is motivated to serve the community through volunteerism.
She previously served as the treasurer for the Central Illinois Autism Association, is a committee member for the Easter Seals Foundation Fiscal Committee, and the former President and current board member of the Peoria County Care and Treatment board for Persons with Disabilities. Along with her board affiliations, she is engaged in the community through local Chamber of Commerce organizations and the GENeration United organization through United Way.
