Giving back is a core part of First Mid’s identity as a community bank. Our employees invest their time and energy in organizations that strengthen the places where we live and work. In 2025, First Mid team members contributed over 18,000 volunteer hours, supporting initiatives that promote financial well-being, strengthen neighborhoods, and create lasting impact.
Each year, First Mid recognizes five employees whose volunteer efforts stand out among their peers. In honor of their service, each honoree selects a nonprofit organization to receive a $500 donation from First Mid.

Providing students with a creative and inclusive environment to explore the performing arts, the department produces high-quality productions that enrich the local community. Amy’s continued support demonstrates her dedication to fostering opportunities for students to grow in confidence, collaboration, and artistic expression.
