Abel Anderson is the Senior Vice President, Edwardsville Community Bank President for First Mid Bank & Trust. He provides lending services to business customers in the St. Louis Metropolitan area.

With over 20 years of banking experience, Abel works with businesses of all sizes to ensure they are seeking the best financing options for their needs now and for their future business success. He joined the First Mid team in 2014.

Abel earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Illinois State University. He is active in several organizations and nonprofit boards, including the Edwardsville Rotary Club, Edwardsville CEO, and United Way of Greater St. Louis.
