Meet Bill

Bill Sullivan is a Senior Vice President, Commercial Lender with First Mid Bank & Trust, serving businesses throughout the Des Moines and Central Iowa region. He works closely with business owners to provide financing solutions that support growth, expansion, and long-term success.

With nearly 40 years of banking experience, Bill has built lasting relationships by delivering personalized service and sound financial guidance. He joined First Mid through the acquisition of Two Rivers Bank & Trust, where he served customers beginning in 2004. Throughout his career, he has enjoyed the relationships he has built with customers and colleagues, many of which have spanned decades.

Bill earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Drake University. He has also been active in the community, serving in leadership roles with the Neighborhood Development Corporation, Community Housing Development Corporation, and Polk County Housing Trust Fund.
