Dion Fields

Dion Fields serves as a Vice President, CRA Mortgage Manager for First Mid Bank & Trust, serving the Bank’s entire footprint. In his role, he is responsible for assisting customers with all aspects of Mortgage Lending, including home purchases, refinances, home equity lines of credit, and personal loans. 

With more than 27 years of experience in residential lending, Dion has helped thousands of customers navigate the home financing process. His background includes originating FHA, VA, USDA, MHDC, portfolio, and conventional loans, giving him the ability to guide borrowers through a wide range of financing options.

Earlier in his career, Dion owned and operated a mortgage brokerage that grew to four branches. He is passionate about expanding access to homeownership and has partnered with nonprofit organizations and community groups to support financial literacy and first-time homebuyer education.
