Erik Ingbretson is the St. Charles, IL Community Bank President for First Mid Bank & Trust. With more than twenty-five years of experience in lending, credit, and financial leadership, Erik partners with businesses to help them secure the financing solutions they need for both current operations and long-term success. He is known for building high-performing teams and fostering strong, lasting customer relationships.

Throughout his career, Erik has held key leadership and commercial lending roles at regional and national financial institutions. He has served a diverse range of clients, including manufacturers, distributors, service providers, non-profit organizations, and middle-market companies, with expertise in working capital, asset financing, and commercial real estate lending. Erik is committed to supporting the financial goals of local businesses and strengthening the communities he serves.

Erik holds a Master of Business Administration with a finance emphasis from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from the University of Iowa.
