Hilary Peters

Hilary Peters is a Vice President and Mortgage Loan Officer Manager with First Mid Bank & Trust.  She brings nearly two decades of banking experience and a passion for helping individuals and families achieve their homeownership goals. Since beginning her banking career in 2007, she has developed extensive expertise in residential lending and is committed to providing personalized mortgage solutions tailored to each customer's unique financial needs.

Hilary joined First Mid in 2011 as a Loan Administrator and was promoted to Mortgage Loan Officer in 2013. Today, she oversees all aspects of mortgage lending, including home purchases and refinances. She works closely with homebuyers, homeowners, realtors, and business partners to deliver a smooth, efficient lending experience from application to closing.

Hilary attended Carl Sandburg College and Western Illinois University, earning a Bachelor of Business degree in Finance. Beyond her professional responsibilities, she is passionate about serving her community. She is an Affiliate and Advisory Committee Member of the West Central Chapter of Capital Area Realtors and Treasurer of the Kiwanis Club of Galesburg.
