Janet Norris

Janet Norris is an Assistant Vice President, Mortgage Loan Officer with First Mid Bank & Trust, helping individuals and families navigate the homebuying and refinancing process with confidence. She works closely with customers and trusted partners to help ensure each transaction runs smoothly, allowing borrowers to focus on the excitement of purchasing a home.

With nearly 40 years of banking experience, Janet brings extensive industry knowledge and a strong commitment to customer service. She began her banking career in 1987 with Hills Bank and Trust and later served customers through American Bank & Trust and Two Rivers Bank & Trust before it joined First Mid. Janet especially enjoys working with first-time homebuyers and guiding them through every step of the lending process, from application to closing.

Janet is active in her community and has volunteered with Junior Achievement for more than 10 years, contributing over 100 hours of service. She values the importance of supporting others and giving back whenever possible.

Outside of work, Janet enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on her children in their college athletic careers, including volleyball and baseball.
