Meet Julie

Julie Huelsmann is a Senior Vice President, Senior Agricultural Lender for First Mid Bank & Trust. She leads the bank’s ag lending efforts, building strong relationships with farm families and agribusinesses to provide financing solutions that support long-term growth and sustainability. Julie serves communities in Madison, Clinton, and Bond counties and is officed in Highland, IL.

With a Bachelor of Science focused in Agribusiness Economics from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale, Julie brings more than 10 years of experience in agricultural finance and a deep-rooted passion for the farming community to her role.

Raised in St. Rose, IL, she has firsthand experience in agriculture and remains actively involved in local organizations including the Madison County Executive Fair Board, St. Rose Development Club, Highland Chamber of Commerce, and Highland Rotary Club.
