Meet Mark

Mark has been with First Mid for 35 years. After 13 years in the Farm Department as a Farm Manager and Rural Appraiser, he became an Ag Lender in 1998. Mark grew up on a grain and livestock farm in western Illinois and continues to assist with the management of the family farm and cattle operation.

Mark holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Economics from the University of Illinois. He is also an Accredited Farm Manager and graduate with Honors from the Southwest Graduate School of Banking. In 2020 Mark was inducted into the Illinois 4-H Hall of Fame for his continued support of 4-H with past service on the Coles County 4-H Foundation and serving as a 4-H Beef Superintendent for Coles County.
