Meet Matt

Matt Carr is a Commercial Lender in the Champaign community and also serves as a Divisional President for First Mid. He has over 25 years of banking experience and is passionate about helping businesses with their financing needs.

Matt earned his Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Illinois. He also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Eastern Illinois University. Matt is active in his community through the Champaign Rotary Club, Illini Rebounders Club, Illini Quarterback Club, and Monticello United Methodist Church.
