Meet Nathan

Nathan Bolin is the Rockford and McHenry, IL Community Market President for First Mid Bank & Trust. He works closely with business owners to understand their goals and provide financing solutions that support long-term growth and success.

With more than 30 years of banking experience, Nathan brings valuable insight into both the operational and lending sides of banking. He began his career as a teller and advanced through leadership roles, including managing credit departments, before becoming a Commercial Banker.

Nathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Economics from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Active in the community, he serves as Treasurer for the Winnebago County CASA Board and as a board member for Family Services of Southern Wisconsin and the Hononegah High School Incubator Program. He previously served on several local boards, including Prairie Hill School District, the Stateline Chamber of Commerce, RAEDC (Rockford Area Economic Development Corp), and the United Way Blackhawk Region Allocation Committee.

A lifelong Rockford area resident, Nathan has been married for 30 years and has two grown children.
