Stephanie Avery

Stephanie Avery serves as Vice President, Regional Retail Loan Manager for First Mid Bank & Trust, serving the Greater Des Moines, IA area. She works closely with customers to provide mortgage financing solutions for home purchases and refinancing needs.

With more than 25 years of mortgage lending experience, Stephanie brings extensive industry knowledge and leadership expertise to her role. She began her mortgage career in 1998 and has held leadership positions since 2014. Her broad understanding of mortgage products and lending solutions allows her to guide borrowers through complex transactions while helping them achieve their homeownership goals.

Stephanie is passionate about building strong relationships, supporting her team, and providing a positive lending experience. She believes in combining personalized service with industry expertise to help customers navigate the mortgage process with confidence.

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys watching WNBA games, cheering on her favorite football teams, and spending time with family. She especially enjoys supporting her daughter at sporting events.
