We have been made aware of customers receiving phone calls which appear to be from our Customer Support number, 877-888-5629. This is an instance where our phone number has been spoofed and the calls are not actually coming from First Mid. The caller states that the customer has fraud on their account and is asking them to take action to resolve the issue.
If you receive such a call, please do not give them any personal or account information. If you wish to verify your account has not been compromised, please hang up and call our Customer Support number directly.
