Have you ever found yourself standing in the checkout line at the store, only to realize you forgot your debit card?
At one time or another, most of us have left home with nothing but our cell phone and keys. Don’t get caught in this situation again.
First Mid debit cards are now compatible with Mobile Wallet services such as Apple Pay®, Android Pay™ and Samsung Pay. When you store your debit card information in your phone’s mobile wallet, you’ll be able to use your device to make purchases at over a million stores now accepting mobile payments.
Mobile Wallets are the most secure payment methods offered today. Your mobile device sends a unique, one-time passcode to the merchant’s terminal that doesn’t contain actual card information like your name or card number. To make a purchase at merchants accepting Apple Pay®, Android Pay™ or Samsung Pay transactions, simply hover or wave your mobile device over the merchant’s terminal. It will then authenticate your transaction with fingerprint or passcode verification. It’s that simple!
You can add multiple cards to your mobile wallet, but the first card you add will be the default card used for transactions, unless another card is chosen at the time of purchase. So, when your First Mid debit card is your preferred method of payment, be sure to add our card first.
