Abel Anderson joined First Mid in 2014, and currently serves as Senior Vice President, Edwardsville Community President. He provides lending services to business customers in the Alton, Edwardsville, Fairview Heights, Highland and Wood River communities. He has more than 14 years of banking experience and enjoys helping businesses of all sizes with their financial needs.
Abel earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Illinois State University. He is active in several organizations and nonprofit boards, including the Edwardsville Rotary Club, Hospice of Southern IL, Edwardsville CEO, and United Way of Greater St. Louis.
