Coleman Engelkes is a Commercial and Ag Lender serving the Charleston and Mattoon communities and the surrounding areas. He works with businesses and farmers to ensure they are seeking the best financing options for their needs now and for the future. Coleman started his career in banking after graduating college. He joined the First Mid team in February 2022.
Coleman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business from Illinois State University and an Associate degree in Business Administration from Lake Land College.
He currently serves as Treasurer for the Coles County 4-H Extension Foundation Board and is a member of the Lake Land College Alumni Association Board of Directors. Coleman previously served as an Agricultural Ambassador at Illinois State University.
Born and raised in Charleston, he is actively involved in many aspects of his local communities.
